There vegan cheesecake is a dessert that was still missing on my blog. You will find various vegan recipes now, including sweets, but in fact still no tart or similar. I therefore decided to start with one of my favorite desserts (cheesecake, in fact). To start I thought I'd go simple, so I chose to prepare a very basic cream, simply by adding some dark chocolate chips. Of course you can always decide to omit the chocolate and instead use a nice fruit topping, for example ... Just remember to use certified vegan ingredients and you can vary as you like!
How to make vegan cheesecake
Finely chop the biscuits and mix them with the melted coconut butter, then use the mixture obtained to line the bottom of the mold, compacting well with your hands or with the back of a spoon.
Blend the tofu finely, then add it to the maple syrup.
Whip the cream with the icing sugar, then add agar agar, orange peel and chocolate chips.
Pour the filling into the mold, compact and level, then let it rest in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
The vegan cheesecake is ready, decorate to taste and serve.
